Changing existing ways of working in a business, whether completely or in part, is probably one of the most difficult challenges a company can face, but at the same time it is one of the most essential for it to meet if it is to be able to survive in the market.

Often the motivation to change is to make the work more effective, simpler, safer and of higher quality so as to create a more competitive product. Surely everyone in a company should be able to accept and support such positive changes, shouldn't they...?

In reality we know that this is not always the case. Companies consist of people, all of whom have their own highly personal views as to how things are to be, can be and ought to be done. If these are not the same as what is proposed, there is an enormous risk that no change will happen. That is why, in our methodology, those who are affected by the changes are always included in the decision-making and anchoring work. The change process continues as long as the management is active and drives it forward.
