Swedish engineers and super jumbo jet A380
Combitech has a long-standing commitment as consultants to Airbus, one of the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers. System developers from Combitech are working on location in Hamburg.
The assignments chiefly concern super jumbo jet A380 and cover aerodynamics and navigation as well as maintenance systems and, more recently, solutions for telephony and onboard Internet. One of the projects in which Combitech is involved concerns stress calculations of the wing spars that Saab builds for the A380.
The solid experience in aircraft design has also led to Combitech being hired by Project Neuron, an international collaboration to develop future unmanned vehicles.
